Team Sarcoma/Hong Kong
Dr. Paul Cheung,
a professor at the University of Hong Kong organized a Team Sarcoma/Hong
Kong to be part of Team Sarcoma 2006. A few days after the team completed a
50 KM (approximately 31 miles) ride, Paul wrote us this note, "A group of alumni
from the MSc (E-Commerce and Internet Computing) program of the University
of Hong Kong, a program that Dr. Bruce Shriver was once an advisor and
instructor in, have been supportive of the Team Sarcoma effort since its
beginning. This year, a team of 23 people, including a few young children,
joined the Hong Kong Sarcoma Team 2006 on a 50 KM bicycle tour in Hong Kong.
The team left Ma On Shan near Sai Kung in Hong Kong, cycle through Shatin,
Tai Po and to Tai Mei Tuk on July 2. The tour started with heavy rain in the
morning at 10 am, but the weather turned into sunny and hot, and the Team
finished at around 3 pm, after a very long lunch at the half-way point. It
was a memorable event and the participants were very pleased to be part of
the Team.
