Team Sarcoma/Sarcoma Alliance (SA)

Arthur Beckert, Executive Director of the Sarcoma Alliance, organized a 17 person running team as part of Team Sarcoma 2006. Here is his account of their incredible run, "On a beautiful sunny day, 17 runners started out above the fog at the 1900 foot (580 meters) level of Mt. Tamalpais in Mill Valley California on a 12 mile (20 KM) run to honor everyone affected by sarcoma. This run was part of worldwide effort to raise awareness about sarcoma and the need for those fighting this disease to receive care from physicians who are expert in its diagnosis and treatment. The run took 3 hours. We wish everyone in Denmark a fun, safe week of biking and hope everyone along the way becomes more aware of the needs of all sarcoma patients."
